The Leadership Team

We are looking for a General Manager/Country Head to lead the on-the-ground set-up and operations of Stake in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia! Exciting, right?

🚀What you’ll do:

Our ambitions as a company have always been to expand our real estate offerings on the platform to multiple cities and grow by scaling across borders. This stems from our vision of creating a world where real estate is borderless, accessible and liquid.

After a strong start in our home market of Dubai, and after attracting large cohorts of investors from Saudi Arabia, it was always in our roadmap to set up operations in our neighbouring market of KSA. Saudi Arabia has a very active retail investor market with a strong affinity for real estate. We are seeing high reverse enquiry from Saudi nationals requesting access to both domestic and Dubai-based real estate on the Stake platform. For this reason, we have set a plan to launch operations in the Kingdom and evolve the platform to be anchored around the needs of the Saudi Arabian market.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager/Country Head to join our executive leadership team and oversee our market entry strategy, local sales, and operations in the Kingdom. This role will report directly to the Co-CEOs and will be a key contributor to Stake’s growth. We are looking for an energetic, mission-driven leader who has depth of expertise and established relationships within the Saudi fintech and real estate ecosystem.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role will be:

• Hiring and managing the local team.
• Owning and driving local commercial KPIs.
• Establishing and managing key on-the-ground partnerships (real estate suppliers, property managers, banks, and other providers of capital).
• Managing Relationships with Saudi regulators, governmental bodies, and constituents. He/She will be responsible for internal systems and controls and ongoing compliance with local regulations and laws.
• Overseeing the organization of local board meetings and other Saudi legal statutory requirements.
• Expanding Stake’s reach through localized online and offline channels and distribution partnerships.
• Building brand awareness and demand through social and PR marketing.
• Working closely with functional units such as Marketing, Ops, Compliance, Tech & Product.

👀 What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 8+ years’ experience in Real Estate Investment Management, Property Development, Investment Banking or Management Consulting.
• Strong network of contacts in KSA within the Real Estate and Fintech ecosystem.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Solid knowledge of the Fintech and Retail Investment market in KSA, including financial products, industry participants and regulators.
• Strong background in Investor Relations. 
• Ability to assimilate and make decisions based on research and market data, e.g. continuously tracking Saudi Arabia’s real estate market trends in order to identify opportunities, helping to formulate the company's investment strategy.
• Proven ability to organise teams in effective ways in order to execute strategy and achieve commercial targets.
• Ability to operate at a high pace, thinking both creatively and strategically on your feet.
• Strong communication skills when dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to absorb complex problems, design actionable solutions and articulate clearly the needs of the business.
• Great leadership skills, with the ability to influence people and start, manage, and complete successful initiatives.
• Experience in startups, B2C companies and/or managing real estate assets is a plus.
