The Product & Technology Team

Our Product & Technology teams lead the charge in developing our platform and solutions, empowering our customers to invest with confidence.

We are seeking a Engineering Manager to lead, mentor, and develop our engineering teams across several key product lines, including our launch in Saudi Arabia, the development of AutoInvest, and, most importantly, the creation of the world’s most advanced real estate investment platform. Our squads are addressing complex, large-scale challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced environment fuelled by rapid growth and innovation. As we continue to expand quickly, we need seasoned technical leaders to help us scale and succeed.

🚀 What you’ll do:

• Lead and manage a group of Software Engineers across multiple squads within our Product & Tech Team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Take ownership of technical delivery, ensuring each squad is aligned with and focused on solving key problems and delivering impactful solutions.
• Provide line management for our Engineering team, guiding their understanding of their roles, fostering a sense of ownership and impact, and supporting their career growth through tailored development plans.
• Remove roadblocks and streamline processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, while mentoring your team members to enhance their skills and advance their careers.
• Balance architectural aspirations with project delivery needs, making strategic trade-offs between performance, reliability, scalability, and deadlines in alignment with business objectives.
• Evaluate and refine current engineering practices, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to accelerate development cycles and enhance product quality.
• Oversee budget planning, resource forecasting, internal reporting, and actively participate in relevant governance forums and processes.
• Report directly to the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), collaborating closely to align engineering strategies with overall company goals.

👀 What we’re looking for:

• A seasoned Engineering Manager with at least 7 years of experience leading and managing high-performing engineering teams, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the fintech industry is highly valued; our platform serves thousands of users and handles millions of dollars, so familiarity with financial services or similar sectors is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality products to market.
• Strong expertise in our core technologies, including React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, API Design, and Laravel PHP.
• Deep understanding of best practices in engineering management, including the importance of testing, observability, and secure software development.
