Stake is the MENA region’s most exciting real estate fintech company, combining real estate expertise and innovative financial technology to deliver products that empower everyone to own and build wealth through Real Estate. Launched in 2021 we have grown rapidly, leveraging decades of experience in technology, financial services and global real estate, to launch the MENA region’s first mobile app for fractional real estate investing.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Growth Squad. The Growth Squad mission involves innovative thinking and the creation of initiatives aimed at enhancing the growth of our key performance indicators. This strategy is built upon a strong focus on data, with frequent iterations to demonstrate results. We closely collaborate with marketing, considering growth as a significant avenue to enhance our products.
🚀What you’ll do:

Implement growth hacks that will enhance user engagement and conversion rates on our key metrics.

Design and architecture scalable software solutions to ensure they meet current needs and are future-proofed for growth in the fintech and proptech sectors

Stay ahead of technology trends in fintech and proptech, incorporating new technologies and methodologies to enhance product functionality and user experience

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, UX/UI designers, and business analysts to define product vision and roadmap, ensuring technology alignment with business goals

Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive financial and personal information, adhering to regional regulations and standards

Optimize application performance for high-traffic loads, ensuring seamless scalability across multiple markets and regions

Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, turning them into actionable technical specifications and deliverables

Foster a culture of quality by advocating for and implementing best practices in testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated end-to-end testing
- Get exposed to developing a fintech & proptech in the Middle East
- Help create complex multi-market, multi-region systems that span across UAE and Saudi Arabia (e.g. Open banking, Payments, Operational Scalability, Performance, New Products)
We iterate small and often - we do around 15 deployments per week with a small team. We work in 2-week sprints in cross-functional squads
👀 What we’re looking for:
- 3-5 years of experience in a dynamic agile software environment ideally from the fintech or finance sector
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup setting
- Skilled in product engineering with a passion for building innovative solutions
- A love for contributing to product development
- Passion for clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Strong ambition to contribute to and thrive in a high-growth environment
- Collaborative mindset, enjoys working as part of a team and values teamwork
- Experience with tools like Segment.io, Customer.io, Amplitude or similar
- Depth understanding of React Native specifically on topics like Deep Linking, A/B Testing.
